P.S. For the record, I agree with TITB. It's got classic Redfield Holder toning.
Ones in the original Paramount holder, based on what I've seen and paid in auctions, command a premium. PCGS/NGC...I don't know but I'd say probably not much. While I can't speak for the Redfield collector community, small as it probably is, I know I have and will pay a premium for an original holdered nice looking well toned Reddy...but don't get nearly excited about a "service slabbed" one.

<< <i>You have to be careful with Redfield pedigreed coins that are not in the Paramount Redfield holders. There are Redfield pedigreed dollars out there in PCGS and NGC slabs for dates and mints that were never in the Redfield hoard. The major services aren't tend to put anything in a Paramount holder in as a Redfield coin. >>
Your right. I only like the paramount Redfields.

That would be an awesome scan to look at.

<< <i>Why did you dig up a 6 year old thread? The old links don't work, you just should have started a new one!!! >>
Maybe CU can establish an icon to go to the left of the thread title to indicate that this is an old thread dug up from the dusty vault. How about the sterotype "Father Time" old man with a sickle image that you usually see on Dec. 31st?
